Job summary

The Constructive Dialogue Institute (CDI) seeks an Associate Director or Director of Development to lead fundraising operations, grant writing, and reporting. You will report to the Co-Founder and Executive Director and work with finance, marketing, and program teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in development or fundraising, including grant writing for large-scale proposals.
• Strong writing and storytelling abilities to translate impact for funders.
• Exceptional organizational skills and self-direction with attention to detail.
• Ability to build and refine fundraising processes and workflows.
• Ability to work across Finance, Marketing & Communications, and programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and submission of grant proposals, reports, and donor materials.
• Own fundraising systems and infrastructure, from funder records to internal workflows.
• Support Executive Director with fundraising strategy and portfolio management.
• Maintain a robust grants calendar and manage deadlines for funders and reports.
