Job summary

Unknown is seeking a highly skilled System Administrator to maintain and upgrade SIGINT survey and geo-location systems. The role covers installation, testing, integration, and configuration across front-end and back-end components.

Required are deep Linux admin experience, Scripting (Python/Bash), and hands-on work with Kubernetes, containerization, and cluster orchestration within a DevSecOps framework. Occasional travel and 24/7 on-call support are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Computer Science (or four years of related experience).
• Twelve (12) years' experience with software and system deployments, Linux system admin, containerization, cloud deployments, DevSecOps.
• May substitute two (2) years of experience with Masters of Science in Engineering or Computer Science.
• Recent experience within the last three (3) years in Kubernetes.
• Recent experience within the last three (3) years in cluster orchestration.
• Recent experience within the last three (3) years containerization.
• Be available for 24/7 call-in support for operational system critical discrepancies.
• Willing to travel for information system installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Poly Date within the last seven (7) years
• Active IAT II CWIP / DoD 8570 compliant cert (i.e., Security+) AND CCNA certification

• Strong Linux (RHEL/CentOS) administration and troubleshooting with scripting in Python and Bash.
• Experience building and maintaining pipelines with Jenkins or GitLab; IaC with Ansible or Terraform.
• Travel for information system installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting; available for 24/7 on-call support.

Job description

Responsible for system administration, maintenance, upgrades, installation, test, integration, and configuration of VLP/LF/MF/HF/VHF/UHF/Wireless SIGINT survey, collection and geo-location systems and software to include prototypes, development, operational testing, test, and labs systems and products.

Experience with:

• Performing network services from network design through implementation, maintenance, and upgrading of existing networks
• LAN/CAN/WAN administration
• Experience with both Arista and Cisco network devices
• Configuring and optimizing the network to connect various front-end and back-end components
• Designing solutions, integrating, configuring, deploying, testing and providing ongoing maintenance for numerous types of network devices
• Strong Linux (RHEL/CentOS) administration and troubleshooting. Proficiency in scripting languages like Python and Bash.
• Experience building and maintaining pipelines with tools like Jenkins or GitLab. Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) using Ansible or Terraform.
