Job summary

The American Red Cross is seeking a Business Development Coordinator to support fundraising growth and data integrity across the region. This role emphasizes timely gift processing, reporting, and system training for volunteers and staff.

You will lead data entry, coordinate with relationship managers, and ensure portfolio accuracy while meeting deadlines and regional objectives. A strong background in data systems and donor management is essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent required.
• Minimum 7 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead efforts to identify gift adjustments and ensure accurate revenue reporting and fundraiser credit alignment with monthly/quarterly deadlines.
• Oversee gift processing operations to ensure timely processing, bundling, and completion.
• Maintain data hygiene and update systems for high-quality donor data and portfolio management.
• Monitor ask and gift closure activity to align with regional goals and provide updates to leadership.
• Onboard new fundraisers and deliver ongoing Salesforce training and reporting best practices.
