Job summary

Lundstrum Performing Arts in Minneapolis seeks a full-time Development Operations and Data Coordinator to manage the Salesforce donor database, support donor engagement, and optimize systems for fundraising campaigns and events.

You will ensure data accuracy, generate reports, and help with stewardship activities while maintaining compliance with IRS standards and donor privacy requirements. This role reports to the Managing Director and requires evenings/weekends for events as needed.

Position: Development Operations and Data Coordinator

Date:July 22, 2026

Reports to: Managing Director

Status: Full-Time Exempt

Salary Range:$49,000-$54,000 depending on experience and qualifications

Support Lundstrum Performing Arts’ mission of discovering talent and inspiring dreams through the performing arts. Advance the mission by managing the CRM and business systems that support donor engagement, fundraising events and campaigns, organizational volunteers and stewardship efforts. This role supports the development team through detailed processes for managing all donor data efficiently and accurately.

Key Responsibilities
Database & Gift Management
  • Maintain and optimize the Salesforce CRM donor database for development use, and serve as company-wide resource, ensuring smooth integrations with data integrity, accurate entry, and timely gift processing.
  • Generate and analyze fundraising reports and lists to support fundraising management and reporting.
  • Oversee acknowledgment process, ensuring timely and personalized donor recognition.
Development Operations & Systems
  • Create and maintain efficient workflows for grant management, donor stewardship, and fundraising events (invitations, volunteers, vendors, messaging).
  • Support all fundraising campaigns (annual, capital campaign) through data segmentation and results tracking.
  • Ensure all development materials, records, and procedures are compliant with IRS, audit, and donor privacy standards.
Donor Engagement & Stewardship Support
  • Support development and marketing teams with targeted appeals, donor communications, and stewardship strategies.
  • Provide logistical support for fundraising events.
  • Assist with prospect research and donor pipeline development.
Budgeting & Reporting
  • Assist the Director of Development with budget tracking, financial reporting, and revenue projections.
  • Monitor fundraising performance metrics and recommend data-informed strategies for improvement.

Key Position Characteristics
  • Strong CRM experience (Salesforce experience preferred) and organizational capabilities, as demonstrated in previous direct experience with a fundraising team.
  • Excellent computer skills and attention to detail. Commitment to data accuracy and donor confidentiality.
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple projects at once.
  • Knowledge of fundraising best practices and compliance.
  • Demonstrated ability to write clearly and persuasively with excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to work in a professional and positive manner with high attention to detail in a non-profit environment with competing deadlines. Able to work independently and within a team.
  • Must be able to handle office and event needs of the position with a high level of resiliency.

Please note that this position is part of small staff team that works together to support school and theater operations, which will require evenings/weekends three to six times for year for fundraising events and school performances. These dates/times will be communicated in advance.

This is a full-time, benefits eligible position. This position reports in-office five days a week.
