Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; progressive fundraising experience preferred.
• Minimum five years in fund-development or related field.
• Experience asking for and closing donations; building long-term donor relations.

Responsibilities

• Solicit donations from individuals, organizations, corporations, and foundations through meetings, presentations, calls, and events.
• Prepare comprehensive proposals for gift opportunities in response to inquiries.
• Record meeting notes and donor information in the CRM; maintain donor communications.
• Maintain an active, growing list of contacts and provide weekly activity reports to supervisor.
• Plan and execute donor recognition events and sponsor relations.
• Collaborate with staff to set annual fundraising targets and meet objectives.
• Participate in capital campaigns and organize fundraising events and campaigns.
• Represent MMC to external stakeholders and deliver community presentations as needed.
• Uphold confidentiality, ethics, and diversity in donor engagement and reporting.
