Job summary

ECPI University is seeking a Business Development Manager – University Partnerships at its Manassas, VA campus to grow and manage partnerships with organizations for employee education, training, or assessment.

You will build connections with employers, negotiate training programs, and align offerings with partner needs, while working with Admissions, Career Services, Continuing Education and Marketing teams to maximize impact.

Qualifications

  • At least five (5) years minimum in a successful business-to-business sales and relationship building position.
  • Proven track record in business-to-business networking and development.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including overnight and weekend travel.

Responsibilities

  • Take an active role in the strategy and development of Education Partnerships including identifying, developing and executing on partnerships
  • Negotiate agreements for services, programs and specialized training or assessment needs
  • Meet or exceed goals in identifying new contacts, partnerships and program enrollment activity
  • Develop workforce training in different industries (manufacturing, healthcare, engineering)
  • Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in new and existing customer accounts
  • Proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer needs and recommend further product offerings to address client needs
  • Work with various departments (Admissions, Career Services, Continuing Education and Marketing teams) to optimize contributions by actively considering their interest in the partner process
  • Plan and manage workforce training projects and events
  • Actively participate in community and corporate networking events and meetings
  • Plan and track activities using CRM platform
  • Other duties as assigned

Good Faith Pay Range:In accordance withVirginia law, the good-faithpay range for this position is$90,000-$120,000 per year. Actual compensation will bedeterminedbased on the candidate's qualifications, education, experience, skills, and other legitimate business factors.

This position will work at ECPI University’s Manassas, VA campus location.

Position Summary

The Business Development Manager – University Partnerships is responsible for developing and executing partnerships with organizations for employee education, training, or assessment. In addition, these partnerships could include helping link organizations to prospective employees from recent ECPI University graduates.

Responsibilities
B2B Growth
  • Take an active role in the strategy and development of Education Partnerships including identifying, developing and executing on partnerships
  • Negotiate agreements for services, programs and specialized training or assessment needs
  • Meet or exceed goals in identifying new contacts, partnerships and program enrollment activity
  • Develop workforce training in different industries (i.e. manufacturing, healthcare, engineering)
Account Management
  • Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in new and existing customer accounts
  • Proactively assess, clarifiy, and validate customer needs and recommend further product offerings to address client needs

  • Excellent stakeholder management and proven ability to develop and manage a project roadmap
