Job summary

Church's Chicken is seeking a Development Manager to lead the technical evaluation of new restaurant sites from initial review through permit issuance. You will coordinate architects, civil engineers, surveyors, and utility consultants, assessing feasibility and development risk while delivering go/no-go recommendations to leadership.

You will drive entitlement and permitting with local jurisdictions and then move approved sites through design with internal teams and external vendors, ensuring

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Experience reading civil site plans, surveys, geotechnical reports, and utility studies.
• Experience managing external consultant teams and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Lead due diligence for new restaurant sites from initial review through entitlement approval and permit issuance.
• Review Site Investigation Reports for completeness and risk.
• Evaluate sites for jurisdictional compliance and development risk.
• Manage entitlement and permitting strategy with jurisdictions and hearings.
• Coordinate internal design team and outside partners through diligence, design, and permitting.
• Track milestones and permit status across the pipeline and communicate risks.
