Development Manager (Full‑stack) – hybrid work model: two days in office and flexible remote days.
Overview
The Technology team is the backbone of Priceline, driving product innovation and delivering high‑quality travel solutions. As a Development Manager, you will shape product strategy, influence technical direction, and lead a team of engineers to build scalable services that power premier travel experiences.
Responsibilities
- Provide constructive feedback and influence performance and career development of high‑performing engineers.
- Own the full‑stack of our products, collaborating with peers on cross‑team initiatives.
- Collaborate continuously with stakeholders across departments to translate business strategies into strategic technical plans.
- Work with senior management to develop long‑term technology road maps and execute ongoing initiatives.
- Lead multiple projects – planning, prioritization, and task delegation.
- Enforce accountability for software quality, ensuring best practices and standards.
- Drive development of high‑scale systems, integrations, and ML model deployment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proven leadership in hiring, mentoring, coaching, and performance management of engineering talent.
- Expert knowledge of Java (including Spring Boot), Python, JavaScript, APIs, web services, and GKE.
- Experience developing ML models and applying industry best practices.
- Strong familiarity with React.js, TypeScript, Node.js, and GraphQL.
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems in fast‑paced environments and build win‑win solutions.

Salary
Competitive base salary ranging from $160,000 to $200,000 USD, with potential annual bonus and equity eligibility.
