Job summary

Insperity, Inc. seeks a Development Manager to expand its corporate network and drive revenue across Greater Houston and Gulf Coast regions.

The role emphasizes relationship-building, opening doors, and securing partnerships with industries including aerospace, maritime, medical, oil & gas, and technology. Reporting to the Chief Development Officer, you will own the fundraising cycle from prospecting to stewardship, cultivate a strong pipeline, and work in a mission-driven nonprofit environment

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, with 3–5+ years of experience in nonprofit development, corporate partnerships, or related field with measurable revenue goals.
• Proven track record of developing and managing a multi-million-dollar portfolio and achieving an annual corporate fundraising goal of $300,000 or more.
• Comfortable opening doors and initiating conversations with new contacts, building trust and long-term professional relationships.
• Strong communication skills, organization, self-direction, and accountability for results.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage a portfolio of Houston-area corporate prospects and partners; cultivate relationships through research, networking, referrals, events, and community engagement.
• Own the full fundraising cycle from prospecting to proposals, solicitation, negotiation, and stewardship.
• Develop customized corporate partnerships aligned with workforce development, employee engagement, and community impact.
• Secure new investments, sponsorships, renewals, upgrades, and multi-year partnerships while maintaining a qualified prospect pipeline.
• Develop trusted relationships with corporate executives and HR leaders and other decision-makers.
• Represent the organization at regional development events and maintain accurate donor data with regular pipeline and revenue updates.
• Collaborate with the Chief Development Officer on larger, more complex partnerships.
