  • Demonstration of impact of our collective work.
  • Continuous engagement by delivering member benefits.
  • Tracking and analyzing donor preferences, giving history and communications.
  • Increased awareness of member benefits and value of active engagement by donors and prospects.
  • Evaluating and recommending new program offerings to meet donor and membership interest.
  • Conduct prospect research, identify funding opportunities, and build a pipeline of donor prospects of corporate, foundation partners and high-net worth individuals.
  • Assist with drafting compelling grant proposals and reports to support organizational goals.
  • Cultivate relationships with prospective donors.
  • Collaborate on developing multiyear fundraising goals to meet USGLC’s growth trajectory.
  • Lead the annual membership renewal cycle - dues invoicing, securing pledges and managing collection processes.
Event Coordination
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on educational events for members and donor cultivation events.
  • Assist with securing special event sponsorships for signature events.
Requirements
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; must enjoy meeting people and be comfortable in recruiting and retaining donors.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of direct fundraising experience preferably in a non-profit, academic environment, or corporate member-based organization.
  • Demonstrated success in managing five figure portfolio is essential; previous experience raising corporate donations is highly desirable.
  • Active user of CRM/fundraising database with advanced functionality.
  • Excellent organizational, presentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Passion for U.S. international development and diplomacy programs is a must.
  • Ability to travel and attend events outside of core working hours as needed.
Compensation

Projected salary range of $65K-$80K will be offered, commensurate with experience, qualifications, internal equity and location. The USGLC also provides a package of generous and competitive benefits, including medical and disability insurance, a retirement plan, paid annual and sick leave, and federal holidays.
