NorthPoint Development is seeking a Development Manager to join our Downers Grove, IL office. This in-person role focuses on entitlements, due diligence, and predevelopment for complex real estate projects, leading a cross-functional team to deliver on time and on budget.

You have 5+ years in a related field, strong knowledge of zoning, subdivision, and infrastructure coordination, plus excellent collaboration and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Real Estate.
• PE license is an asset but not required.
• 5+ years of experience in a relevant position.
• Strong knowledge of land entitlement, zoning, subdivision, due diligence, plan development, and infrastructure coordination.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to manage multiple complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site feasibility and due diligence, including title review and environmental reports.
• Lead entitlement process from zoning changes to permits and approvals.
• Coordinate external consultants to ensure timely, high-quality submissions.
• Review civil plans, drainage and traffic studies for compliance.
• Represent NorthPoint at public hearings and meetings.
