Job summary

NorthPoint Development in Cincinnati is seeking a Development Manager for an on-site leadership role. You will drive site feasibility, entitlements, and coordination with engineers, architects, and attorneys to advance predevelopment and approvals.

You will lead contracts, budgets, and schedules across the project lifecycle, working with leasing, finance, and property management teams to deliver successful developments. Strong communication and travel readiness are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Real Estate (PE optional).
• 5+ years of experience in relevant position.
• Deep understanding of land entitlement—zoning, subdivision, due diligence, plan development.
• Strong project management to handle multiple complex projects with deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive site feasibility and due diligence, including test fits, title/survey review, environmental reports, geotechnical studies, and constraints.
• Lead entitlement process from start to finish, including zoning changes, platting, permits, and approvals, with schedules and budgets.
• Coordinate external consultants to ensure timely submission of high-quality applications and reports.
• Review civil engineering plans, drainage reports, traffic studies for regulatory compliance and project objectives.
• Represent NorthPoint in public hearings and meetings before planning commissions, city councils, and other bodies.
• Bid, negotiate, and administer contracts and change orders for project vendors.
• Coordinate external project team to deliver on schedule and within budget.
