Job summary

Catholic Charities, Diocese of Joliet seeks a fundraising professional to lead the individual giving program and manage annual appeals. The role includes donor stewardship, portfolio management, and moves management to track cultivation and solicitations.

You will develop donor-centered materials, collaborate with internal partners, and represent the agency at events. Strong communication and data-driven decision making are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a related field.
• Four or more years of fundraising/development experience.
• Experience in annual giving and donor engagement including stewardship, cultivation, direct response appeals, or major-gift support.
• Knowledge of moves management, segmentation, donor retention, and pipeline development.
• Proficiency with Raiser's Edge NXT preferred.
• Strong relationship-building, communication, and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the individual giving program, including annual appeals, donor renewal, retention, reactivation, and upgrade strategies.
• Develop and manage annual appeal plans with internal partners.
• Manage a portfolio of individual donors and prospects through outreach, meetings, stewardship, and solicitations.
• Maintain moves management to track cultivation steps, stewardship actions, and solicitations.
• Support major and planned giving through donor research, proposals, and stewardship.
• Ensure accurate donor records and data integrity in Raiser's Edge NXT.
