Job summary

CORMETECH, Inc. is seeking a Development Lab Technician I to operate lab equipment, mix powders, extrude batches, dry and calcine materials according to prescribed procedures.

The role includes moisture and plasticity measurements, testing calcined extrudates, and supporting development experiments on the production floor. Training will cover one processing area and material testing with emphasis on accurate logs and safety.

Qualifications

• High School or GED equivalent. Good math skills.
• Computer knowledge – Excel.
• Some lifting up to 45 lbs.
• Some College preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operates lab equipment to mix powders, extrude batches, dry and calcine extrudates as prescribed.
• Performs moisture and plasticity measurements per internal standards; tests calcined extrudates for properties.
• Maintains detailed logs of all work-related activities and safety procedures.
• Supports development experiments on production floor post-extrusion and moisture tests on wet product.
