FUJIFILM Electronic Materials U.S.A., Inc. in Mesa, AZ is seeking a Metrology R&D Chemist to develop advanced QC metrologies and support product development. You will contribute to AMLC material characterization and assist the production QC team to advance metrology and quality systems.

The role requires a BA/BS in a chemical or physical science, 1–2 years in semiconductors or an R&D lab, and strong analytical instrumentation skills. PhD holders may apply with less experience.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Chemical related or other Physical Science discipline.
• 1–2 years of experience in the semiconductor field or in an R&D/production laboratory environment.
• Candidates possessing a PhD will be considered with less experience.
• Candidate must be able to manage activities amidst changing priorities.

Responsabilités

• Develop statistically and technically sound analytical test methods for QC production.
• Characterize raw materials, intermediates, and supply chain using standard testing.
• Advance metrology capabilities through new technologies to hit performance targets.
• Participate in global alignment of quality control processes and procedures.
• Engage in customer-initiated projects and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
