Job summary

Welcome Home Angel seeks an Advancement Officer to manage WHA's donor relationships, grant writing, and fundraising programs. This frontline role reports to the CEO and supports communications, outreach, and stewardship across a 38-hour week in a hybrid office setting.

The role emphasizes prospecting, cultivation visits, data entry in the donor CRM, and collaboration with the CEO to plan campaigns and events that expand support for ABLE Pathway and related programs.

Qualifications

• Two years of coordination/outreach/donor relations in nonprofit or related field required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; alternatives considered with experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead fund development activities including donor cultivation and stewardship.
• Coordinate grant writing, reporting, and foundations/government/corporate funders.
• Provide administrative support: CRM data entry, reports, and fundraising logistics.
• Create donor communications, manage outreach through events and social channels.
• Collaborate with CEO and team on campaigns, appeals, and donor-facing materials.
