Job summary

Welcome Home Angel in Wilmington, NC is seeking a relationship-first, revenue-driven fundraiser to own WHA's donor development pipeline end-to-end. The role blends business development discipline with mission-driven fundraising in a full-time hybrid setting.

You will manage a 40–60 donor/prospect portfolio, close gifts, write grants, and grow programs like Angel Ambassador monthly giving and corporate partnerships.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of fundraising, sales, or business development with a track record of pipeline management and closing.
• Exceptional relationship-building skills and ability to move donors to committed partnerships.
• Comfort with revenue accountability, tracking numbers and metrics.
• Grant writing experience with successful awards.

Responsibilities

• Own a prospect pipeline of 40–60 donors and partners, from discovery to close.
• Meet monthly activity targets and drive meaningful donor visits.
• Develop corporate partnerships for cash gifts, sponsorships, and in-kind support.
• Write grants and compliance reports; maintain awards track record.
• Grow recurring revenue via monthly giving and corporate programs.
• Support capital campaign planning and major gift solicitation.
• Log activity in CRM and report on portfolio health to leadership.
• Steward donors with timely updates and 48-hour acknowledgments.
