Description:

Are you passionate about using your skills to support a life-changing ministry? Clarity of Central Indiana is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual for a full-time position as a Development & Grants Administrative Assistant. This role is perfect for someone who wants to combine administrative excellence with a heart for ministry while helping secure vital funding for our mission.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Grant Writing (25-30 hours per week)
  2. Research and write compelling grant proposals to secure funding for Clarity's mission.
  3. Maintain accurate records of grant applications, deadlines, and outcomes.
  1. Administrative Support (10-15 hours per week)
  2. Provide administrative support to the Development team, including data entry, scheduling, and correspondence.
  3. Assist with donor communications and fundraising efforts.

Requirements:

Who We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in English or Communications
  • A strong writer with an eye for detail and the ability to communicate Clarity's mission effectively.
  • Someone organized and proactive, able to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
  • Practical thinking – A solution-oriented mindset to navigate challenges effectively.
  • Creativity – The ability to craft engaging and persuasive grant proposals.
  • Tech-savvy – Comfortable using databases, spreadsheets, and other digital tools.
  • Detail-oriented – Ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in all work.
  • Industry knowledge – Understanding of grant writing, fundraising, or nonprofit development is a plus.
  • Persistence – A determined approach to researching, writing, and following up on grant opportunities.
  • A team player who is excited to work in a faith-based, ministry-driven environment.
