Job summary

Laguna Playhouse in Laguna Beach, CA, seeks a Development Operations & Events Coordinator to steward donor relationships, manage campaigns, and support communications.

You will maintain Spektrix records, produce acknowledgments, coordinate donor events, and collaborate with Marketing, Finance, and Production to advance fundraising.

Bachelor's degree, strong detail orientation, and ability to work evenings/weekends are required; CA driver license is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and nonprofit development experience.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication with a donor-first mindset.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work evenings/weekends for events.
• Valid California driver's license and transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate donor and prospect records in Spektrix.
• Run reports and pull mailing lists to support campaigns and donor communications.
• Log donor touchpoints and support move management; process gifts, pledges, and donations.
• Produce acknowledgment letters and tax receipts for contributions.
• Code and reconcile gift records with the finance team.
• Track fundraising performance metrics, donor acquisition, and retention.
• Coordinate multi-channel campaigns (direct mail, digital).
• Collaborate with marketing and production to keep donor listings accurate.
