Job summary

Alpert JFS is seeking a Manager of Special Events & Development Projects to lead planning, execution, and evaluation of fundraising and outreach events. You will collaborate with the Development, Marketing, Programs, and Finance teams to ensure strong donor engagement, adherence to budgets, and measurable impact across community initiatives.

Minimum of 3–5 years of nonprofit event management experience.

Responsibilities

Plan and execute the organization’s Annual Gala, Luncheon, Meeting and donor events.
Coordinate venue logistics, catering, AV, décor, entertainment, transportation, and vendors.
Manage event registrations, guest communications, seating, check-in, and materials.
Lead donor cultivation, sponsorships, and donor recognition activities.
Prepare budgets, track expenses, and provide post‑event evaluations.
