Job summary

City of Maypearl seeks a Development Review Manager to plan and oversee private development review programs, supervise staff as needed, and coordinate with customers and internal and external stakeholders to keep projects moving quickly and compliant.

You will regularly report on program and project activities, forecasts, and accomplishments, guiding teams through complex site plans, plats, zoning reviews, and related public works processes.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited B.S. in Civil Engineering.
• Six years of progressively responsible experience in development review/public works engineering.
• Four years reviewing construction plans, plats, site plans, and zoning.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited engineering program
• Six years of progressively responsible experience in development review engineering, public works engineering, or other related field.
• Four years of experience reviewing construction plans, plats, site plans, and zoning
• Any combination of education, experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities will be considered.

CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES REQUIRED:

• Registration as a Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Texas or ability to obtain same within six months
• Valid Class "C" Texas Driver License with a good driving record
