Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree(s) in engineering or related technical field with multiple pathways to required experience.
• Strong Python programming and data handling with ML familiarity.
• Experience in controls engineering, PLC/HMI, and electrical troubleshooting.
• Proficient AutoCAD interpretation and electrical schematic development.
• Industrial automation, AI/ML driven material development is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and enhance control software for process, metrology, and analytical equipment.
• Streamline database systems through admin, automation, and performance tuning.
• Develop tailored software tools to address site challenges and boost productivity.
• Coordinate small to mid-scale control projects and assist with new equipment installation.
• Maintain electrical drawings and document equipment changes; troubleshoot issues.
• Support cross-functional teams on large projects, including hardware IT and vendor liaison.
• Bridge data between equipment and corporate SQL databases for reliable transactions.
• Communicate effectively and foster team collaboration; ensure safety and housekeeping.
