MAHLE is seeking an E‑Compressor Development Engineer in Lockport, NY. You will join the product engineering team to design and validate electrically driven AC compressors for future hybrid or fully electrified powertrains.

Your Contribution

Our E‑Compressor Development Engineer is part of the product engineering team developing the electrically driven AC compressor, which is a mechatronic product needed in conjunction with future hybrid or fully electrified powertrains.

The position contributes to the electrical compressor development activity by design and validation of electric AC compressors.

• Designing and developing AC compressor components working with a team of Product Engineers and Designers with focus targeted to the electronics portion of the compressor.
• Develop validation programs for OEM customers for the successful launch of their programs.
• Participate in innovation, product cost and quality improvement initiatives

Your Experience & Qualifications

• BS Engineering Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 3 to 5 years experience in design of rotational mechanical devices
• Background and job experience in the automotive industry
