Job summary

USGBC-CA seeks a Development Coordinator in Los Angeles to drive donor engagement, sponsorship fulfillment, and business development across regional markets. You will coordinate fundraising campaigns, manage CRM data, and support events like the California Green Building Conference and Green Gala while nurturing partners for lasting impact.

Reporting to the Chief Development Officer, the role emphasizes collaboration, process optimization, and timely communications to meet annual funding goals

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of hands-on fundraising or donor relations experience.
• Proficiency with nonprofit CRMs and automations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Commitment to climate action and sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Fundraising Identification, cultivation, asks, stewardship, and benefit tracking across initiatives.
• Coordinate logistics for statewide and regional signature events and post-event follow-ups.
• Manage administrative and digital workflows for giving programs and campaigns.
• Maintain funder data, process gifts, and issue timely tax receipts and acknowledgments.
• Develop relationships with current and prospective partners to advance programs.
• Support cross-functional initiatives with collateral, metrics, and internal communications.
• Other duties as assigned.
