USGBC-CA is seeking a Development Coordinator to advance donor engagement and fundraising across California regions. You will coordinate sponsorship fulfillment, manage gifts, and support events like the California Green Building Conference and Green Gala.

The role reports to the Chief Development Officer, collaborates across departments, and helps build lasting partnerships with current and future sponsors while upholding our values of service and sustainability.

Formación

• 2–3 years of hands-on fundraising, donor relations, or event sponsorship coordination.
• Proficiency with nonprofit CRM systems and automations (Copper/Raiser's Edge) and project management software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for funder appeals, sponsor correspondence, and impact updates.
• Strong dedication to climate action and sustainability.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate fundraising identification, cultivation, asks, stewardship fulfillment, and benefit tracking across fundraising initiatives.
• Support event fundraising execution for statewide and regional events, coordinating sponsor collateral, benefit execution, and post-event funder follow-up.
• Coordinate administrative and digital workflows for giving programs, market transformation initiatives, and events utilizing automations and tech stack.
• Coordinate and maintain funder data (e.g., Copper CRM), process incoming gifts, run targeted appeal queries, and issue acknowledgment letters and tax receipts.
• Actively build relationships with both current and potential future partners, with a focus on implementing initiatives in the real estate industry.
• Pull collateral, gather funder metrics, and support cross-functional initiatives with a “how can I help?” mindset.
