Animal Friends Alliance seeks a Development Assistant to provide administrative support to the Director of Development and staff. You will interact with donors, community members, and board members by phone, online, and in person, primarily onsite, with responsibilities in fundraising administration and event support.

Qualifications

• Requires 1 year of experience in an office or customer service setting.
• Prefers 2 years in donor record management, community relations, marketing, or related field.
• Valid Driver’s License required.

Responsabilités

• Provide administrative support to the Director of Development and staff.
• Interact with donors, community members, and board via phone, online, and in person.
• Assist donors with donations and track weekly/monthly gifts using Bloomerang and Excel.
• Coordinate with departments to arrange delivery of donated items and communications.
• Maintain donor database accuracy through regular reporting and cleanup.
• Support planning and execution of major Alliance events (e.g., Gala for Animals).
• Attend weekly Development meetings and provide support to other teams as needed.
