Job summary

Benjamin’s Hope is seeking a relationship-driven Advancement Officer to support fundraising and community engagement efforts that secure resources and partnerships to sustain and expand its mission. This role cultivates donors, manages a portfolio, and serves as an ambassador for the organization within churches, foundations, and community partners.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in fundraising, development, advancement, or related field.
• Proven ability to cultivate and maintain donor, client, or community relationships.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, storytelling, and impact framing.
• Excellent organizational and project-management abilities with multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate, solicit, and steward relationships with donors, foundations, corporations, churches, and community partners.
• Manage a portfolio of donors and prospects; identify opportunities to increase engagement.
• Support fundraising strategies including major gifts, annual giving, grants, and planned giving.
• Develop donor communications, stories, proposals, and stewardship materials.
