Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field required.
• Advanced degree in not‑for‑profit, communications or fund development preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Good interpersonal skills and teamwork ability.
• Strong partnership‑building and event planning skills.
• Understanding of diversified funding sources and CRM use.
• Proficient computer skills and CRM/database knowledge.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Experience coordinating donor campaigns and corporate resources.

Responsibilities

• Develop annual fund strategy with advancement team to raise contributions.
• Set goals to significantly increase donations from communities, corporations, and individuals.
• Coordinate monthly tours and entry events with the Director of Advancement.
• Maintain and cultivate sponsor relationships through communication and recognition.
• Secure items for silent auctions, program events, and in-kind donations.
• Lead internal giving campaigns, including monetary and in-kind gifts.
• Diversify campaigns with online solicitation and email efforts.
• Draft annual appeal and donor acknowledgement letters.
• Identify, cultivate, solicit and steward donors.
• Execute events and campaigns to meet revenue goals.
• Match volunteer opportunities with outside groups and clubs.
• Maintain and grow CRM database, calendar, and reporting.
