Job summary

The Sobrato Family Foundation is launching SEAL as an independent nonprofit with a focus on research, policy/advocacy, and practice. The Director of Development will lead a strategic fundraising approach to increase investments to approximately $3 million annually within five years, cultivating donors, securing grants, in-kind support, and major gifts across the Silicon Valley region.

Reporting to the Executive Director and serving on the SEAL Senior Leadership Team, this role oversees plan

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a related field.
• CFRE certification strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage fund development activities to grow revenues aligned with SEAL's mission.
• Develop and implement strategies for major gifts, campaigns, and donor stewardship.
• Collaborate with board, executive leadership, and partners to expand fundraising capacity and organizational impact.
