Job summary

Sisu in Oklahoma City is seeking a Development Director with 5+ years fundraising experience to lead our Development and Volunteer Coordinators, shaping donor relations and grant-seeking strategies. The role requires strategic leadership, strong communication, and a passion for empowering unhoused youth.

The DD will collaborate with the Executive Director, board, and campaign partners, supervise staff, and guide capital campaigns while maintaining engagement with the philanthropic community.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of fundraising experience
• strong communication and relationship-building skills
• leadership/supervisory experience managing development staff

Responsibilities

• Identify, cultivate, and steward individual donors, granting organizations, program officers, and corporate sponsors.
• Set a grant-seeking agenda and manage the grant writing consultant team.
• Co-lead the capital campaign and work with ED, board, and campaign committee to finish fundraising quickly.
• Supervise two development program staff.
• Represent Sisu across the philanthropic community and maintain an active presence in the sector.
