Job summary

Rise Recovery in San Antonio, TX seeks a Director of Development to lead growth, visibility, and long-term sustainability. You will oversee communications, grant writing, and stakeholder engagement while expanding partnerships and donor programs to deepen impact in peer support and addiction recovery.

This leadership role partners with the CEO and the board, builds a diversified funding strategy, and guides campaigns, reporting, and analytics.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in managing grants from prospecting through reporting.
• Experience cultivating donor relationships.
• Knowledge of fundraising best practices and donor stewardship.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage a comprehensive stakeholder pipeline to meet and exceed annual strategic goals.
• Cultivate relationships with major donors, corporate sponsors, and philanthropic partners.
• Plan and execute strategic fundraising campaigns, appeals, and donor events.
• Identify and pursue new opportunities, including grants, service contracts, and strategic referral partnerships.
• Oversee all stages of grant management: prospecting, writing, submission, compliance, and reporting.
• Ensure accurate financial tracking, donor stewardship, and acknowledgment processes.
