Job summary

The Williams Institute, a national research center on sexual orientation law and public policy at UCLA School of Law, seeks a seasoned development professional to lead corporate and individual giving programs, donor cultivation, and major gift strategies. Qualifications

• Minimum eight years progressive responsibility in development or related field.
• Minimum five years event planning experience in nonprofit development.
• Strong written communication and ability to solicit gifts.
• Experience with major gifts fundraising and donor cultivation.
• Knowledge of fundraising principles and grant management.
• Ability to interpret donor policies and manage budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead corporate and individual giving programs and fundraising events.
• Oversee grant management, budgeting, and reporting.
• Supervise staff including Grant & Finance Administration.
• Cultivate donors and solicit gifts to expand income base.
• Ensure program endorsement and development operations efficiency.
