Job summary

Bridges to Independence is seeking a Director of Development to lead fundraising initiatives and the development team in Arlington. You will build donor relationships, develop strategies for individuals, foundations, and corporate giving, and collaborate with the CEO, COO, and Board to advance the mission.

Bachelor's degree required; 3–5 years fundraising experience with supervisory background. CFRE preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• 3–5 years of experience leading fundraising initiatives.
• 1–2 years of supervisory experience.
• CFRE certification preferred.
• Proficiency with CRM systems and donor data.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute fundraising strategies for individuals, faith groups, and foundations.
• Lead the development team and donor relations to increase revenue.
• Support CEO/COO and Board fundraising activities and committee tracking.
• Manage donor communications, events, grants, and reporting.
• Collaborate across programs to craft compelling donor stories and campaigns.
