Job summary

Tacoma Area Youth for Christ is seeking a Development Director to lead fundraising and partnerships, working closely with the Executive Director to ensure the ministry's long-term financial stability. You will oversee major donors, grants, events, and the development team, all while modeling biblical stewardship.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of nonprofit fundraising or development experience.
• Proven success in major gifts, grants, events, and donor stewardship.
• Experience developing fundraising strategies with measurable results.
• Strong community networking and relationship-building skills.
• Experience managing donor CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and fundraising data.
• Strong project management, grant process, and event planning skills.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead TYFC's fundraising strategy and annual development plan.
• Cultivate and steward major donors and partners.
• Plan and oversee fundraising events and donor engagement initiatives.
• Pursue grants aligned with TYFC's mission.
• Lead the Development Team with Christ-centered leadership.
• Use fundraising data and Salesforce to strengthen donor relationships.
