Job summary

North Central Missouri College in Trenton is seeking a Director of Development who will lead fundraising campaigns, donor engagement, and strategic planning to support the college’s mission, programs, scholarships and capital projects.

Reporting to the President, you will build relationships with alumni, local businesses, foundations and community partners, oversee grants and events, and collaborate with the Foundation Board to advance development goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, education, business, public relations or another applicable field.
• Advancement, development and/or fundraising experience required.
• High emotional intelligence, excellent communication skills, ability to manage multiple tasks, handle concerns, solve problems, and possess persuasive abilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute fundraising campaigns for annual giving, major gifts, planned giving, and corporate sponsorships.
• Partner with the Foundation Board to align fundraising goals with institutional priorities.
• Cultivate relationships with alumni, local businesses, and community members to secure financial support.
• Oversee submission and administration of foundation and corporate grants.
• Direct cultivation and fundraising events that promote the college within the community.
• Help establish, build, connect, and grow alumni relations for NCMC.
• Lead strategic planning efforts of the NCMC Foundation Board and coordinate with college needs.
