Dream Project in the Washington DC area is seeking a Development Director to lead fundraising efforts in partnership with the Executive Director, Business Manager and Program Manager. You will collaborate with a passionate board and staff to grow resources for immigrant students and families.

The role offers the chance to design innovative fundraising strategies, manage donor pipelines, and expand engagement across foundations, corporations and individual donors.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of fundraising experience in nonprofits.
• Ability to cultivate donors and secure gifts.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours for events.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement annual fundraising plans.
• Engage Board of Directors and Advisory Board to expand networks.
• Cultivate high-level donors and gifts of $10,000+.
• Grow Named Scholarship program and donor stewardship.
• Plan and execute fundraising events and communications.
