The YWCA of Rochester & Monroe County is seeking a Development Director to lead fundraising and visibility efforts. You will design and implement strategies to expand donor engagement, oversee online giving campaigns, and work closely with the CEO, VP, and Board to meet revenue goals.

This role requires strong communication, donor management experience, and the ability to build lasting relationships with community partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 3–5 years of related experience.
• Excellent communication, public speaking and writing skills are essential.
• Experience with donor management software is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement fundraising strategies and campaigns.
• Manage fundraising appeals, online giving, and collaboration with CEO/VP to set goals.
• Engage with the team on new campaigns, outreach, and donor cultivation.
• Design donor solicitation materials and acknowledgments.
• Maintain constituent database and generate donor reports for leadership.
• Plan and oversee signature fundraising events and logistics.
• Supervise Development staff with coaching and performance reviews.
