Mayo Performing Arts Center in Morristown, NJ seeks a full-time Development Associate to support fundraising, membership growth, and donor stewardship. The role emphasizes database management (Tessitura), data integrity, online giving, and financial reporting for donations, grants, and events.

The position requires experience with Tessitura, data entry, and Excel, plus attendance at select evening meetings and events such as the Starlight Ball and Spring Fundraiser.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of experience in development, fundraising operations, database management, nonprofit administration, or a related field.
• Experience managing fundraising databases and CRM systems; proficiency with Tessitura or similar donor management platforms preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to create reports, interpret data, identify trends, and support fundraising strategy.

Aufgaben

• Create and maintain Tessitura database structures (Campaigns, Funds, Appeals, Memberships, Sources, Benefits, Pricing).
• Develop Tessitura Analytics dashboards and reports for fundraising, membership, donor trends, and planning.
• Prepare giving histories, prospect profiles, and donor recognition lists for leadership and events.
• Conduct wealth screenings using iWave; maintain accurate constituent records.
• Serve as primary administrator for Development functions in Tessitura, iWave, OneCause, and other systems.
• Create online giving campaigns and manage membership auto-renewals and reporting.
