Job summary

Völker is seeking a Development Coordinator to advance projects from site control to stabilization. You will work across departments and with external stakeholders, supporting the Managing Directors of Development throughout the lifecycle of each project.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years in multi-family real estate development.
• Experience with LIHTC or affordable housing projects preferred.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and AI workflow integration.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong written and verbal communication and cross-functional relationship-building skills.
• Continual improvement and problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities

• Pre-Development: Evaluate zoning, file applications, coordinate with consultants.
• Perform market analysis on rents, income, demand, unit mix, utilities.
• Order/assess due diligence: market studies, enviro reports, appraisals, energy models.
• Prepare financing applications: LIHTC, gap, TIF.
• Collaborate with Building Delivery and design teams on site feasibility.
• Attend site visits and public meetings when needed.
