Job summary

Youth Haven is seeking a Development Coordinator to support the Development Department and the Executive team with administrative tasks, donor communications, and event coordination. The role emphasizes initiative, organization, and confidentiality.

The position involves managing donor and event records, assisting with fundraising activities, and supporting annual toy drive logistics. A related bachelor’s degree and nonprofit experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience.
• At least 1 year in fundraising, marketing, or development.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and networking abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Familiarity with donor databases is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support development and executive staff with administrative tasks.
• Manage communications and donor relations with discretion and confidentiality.
• Oversee One Cause event platform pages, registrations, and reporting.
• Coordinate donor events, logistics, invitations, and materials.
• Assist with toy drive coordination and year-end outreach.
