Job summary

The Children’s Hospital Foundation is seeking a Development Coordinator, Community Relations to coordinate and execute campaigns focused on identifying, cultivating, and stewarding donors. You will support the Corporate Giving team, engaging corporate donors at the $5,000+ level and partnering with hospital colleagues to expand community impact through events and targeted outreach.

Primarily a weekday role with occasional weekend events and travel within the Pittsburgh region to support donor

The Children’s Hospital Foundation is hiring a Development Coordinator, Community Relations who will be responsible for the coordination and execution of various campaigns and initiatives with a focus on identifying, cultivating, and stewarding both active and prospective donors

As a Development Coordinator supporting the Corporate Giving team, you will play a key role in coordinating and executing fundraising campaigns and initiatives primarily focused on engaging and stewarding corporate donors and partners at the $5,000+ level. You will help identify, cultivate, and steward both active and prospective donors, working closely with Foundation colleagues and hospital partners to advance our mission and expand our impact in the community

Hours

Primarily a weekday / daylight position, with occasional weekend work required to support fundraising events, community activities and partner engagement.

Travel

Approx. 30-40% Travel within the Pittsburgh Region and Western PA to support various donor and community events. Reliable transportation is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Assiststhe fundraising team in supporting fundraising activities that connect to the Foundation’s overall fiscal year goals, with a focus on supporting major, principal and transformative donor giving and relationships.
• Workswiththeleadership andFoundationcolleagues tounderstandthefundingneedsofvarious divisions and programs, and works with various Foundation teams toward realizing those goals.
• Supportsthefundraisingactivitiesassociatedwithsomeofthefollowing:individuals,organizations, foundations providing necessary support as needed.
• Maintainsrelationshipswithcurrentfundraisingorganizationsand/orindividualswhilelookingforanddeveloping opportunities to build new partnerships.
• Coordinatesandmanagesallassignedactivitiesandfundraisinginitiativesandattendsfundraisingactivitiesas appropriate/required.
• Assistswithallotherstagesofdepartmentspecificfundraisinginitiativeplanningandexecutionasneeded.
