Job summary

The NASCAR Foundation seeks a Development Coordinator to support fundraising initiatives and help achieve annual revenue goals. This role manages online auctions, assists with events, coordinates volunteers, and maintains accurate fundraising data.

You will prepare auction items, communicate with donors and partners, support major gifts and monthly giving programs, and compile reports in the Aegis CRM. A bachelor's degree and 2–3 years of fundraising or related experience are preferred.

This position manages online auctions, assists with fundraising events and donor engagement, coordinates volunteers, and maintains accurate fundraising data and reports.What You’ll DoManage The NASCAR Foundation’s online auction program, including:Procure auction items and experiences from race teams, drivers, tracks, industry partners, and other sources.Prepare and post auction items and experiences on designated online storefronts.Manage auction closeout, fulfillment, and shipping.Prepare itineraries and communications for race-experience winners.Develop a bi-monthly newsletter for online auction donors.Maintain monthly sales records for entry into the Aegis CRM donor database.Identify and help implement new ideas to achieve annual online auction revenue goals.Support the Development Team with the planning and execution of Foundation fundraising events, including the Texas Hold ’Em Poker Tournament, License to Drive, Taste of the 24, and other assigned events.Assist with third-party fundraising events, including securing donations and coordinating silent auctions.Recruit, coordinate, and expand volunteer participation in at-track and off-track fundraising programs.Assist with on-site Foundation booth activities at participating racetracks.Support major-gift, monthly-giving, and direct-mail initiatives through donor research, solicitation, cultivation, and stewardship.Research prospective donors and compile data and reports to support donor-development efforts.Maintain donor relationships through thank-you correspondence, stewardship outreach, and solicitation calls.Compile fundraising and development reports and maintain accurate information in the Aegis CRM donor database.Provide support to the Director of Development, Development Manager, and other Foundation team members as needed.Assist with the supervision, training, and work direction of the Development Intern and at-track volunteers.Travel occasionally as required.Perform other duties as assigned.What You’ll BringBachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university.Two to three years of experience in fundraising, sales, marketing, administration, or a related field; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with donors, partners, volunteers, vendors, and employees at all levels of the organization.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.Proficiency with Microsoft Office and company-provided technology.Experience with CRM systems, database management, or data entry preferred.Ability to prepare reports and perform basic mathematical calculations, including percentages, commissions, and proportions.A passion for fundraising and donor engagement.Ability to establish and maintain productive relationships with internal teams, corporate partners, sponsors, vendors, donors, and volunteers.Ability to exercise sound judgment, follow established procedures, and resolve routine issues independently.Why The NASCAR Foundation?The NASCAR Foundation works to improve the lives of children who need it most by supporting programs that provide access to healthcare and resources that help children thrive.
