You will coordinate projects through zoning, site plans, permits, and inspections while ensuring compliance with regulations and plans.

You will support planning and development staff, optimize workflows in permitting systems, and provide professional-level guidance across departments to deliver

Qualificações

• Knowledge of municipal planning and development services.
• Familiarity with zoning, subdivision, and land development regulations.
• Experience with site development review, building permit review, and plan examination.
• Ability to provide customer-focused service while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Strong communication and coordination skills across multiple City departments.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as the primary point of contact for development applicants, property owners, and consultants.
• Coordinate development projects through zoning, platting, site plan review, permitting, and inspections.
• Improve workflow within permitting systems to increase efficiency and transparency.
• Conduct pre-development meetings and coordinate participation from multiple departments.
• Lead Development Review Committee meetings for major projects.
• Explain regulations and timelines to applicants and stakeholders.
• Monitor project status and communicate milestones and deadlines.
• Identify barriers and facilitate solutions between applicants and City departments.
