The Center for Urban Pedagogy (CUP) is seeking a Development Coordinator to support our development, community engagement, and communications efforts, helping build relationships and financial support for our social justice design work. We seek a creative, organized, and motivated candidate with development and communications experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of work experience in a related field (development, communications, philanthropy, events, or nonprofit).
• Proficiency with content management systems such as Salesforce, basic web applications, and Microsoft Office.
• Experience managing entry-level staff and/or interns.

Responsibilities

• Development: Prepare grant proposals, reports, timelines, and budgets; process donor acknowledgements and correspondence; coordinate CUP events (annual benefit, cultivation events, and public).
• Programs: Coordinate annual fundraising campaigns and solicitations; research funding prospects; maintain Salesforce database; manage fundraising calendar; assist with board engagement.
• Communications and community engagement: Develop outreach and marketing materials; evaluate projects; create and coordinate social media content.
• Organizational support: Manage program assistants and interns; participate in strategic planning and organizational infrastructure development; provide general administrative support.
