Job summary

The Center for Urban Pedagogy (CUP) is seeking a Program Manager to collaborate with community organizations and designers to create visually-based education tools and trainings. This full-time role reports to the Director of Programs and focuses on Making Policy Public, Public Access Design, and related initiatives, with a strong anti-racist lens.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of work experience in a related field with demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple projects.
• Experience leading community-engaged design or participatory design from an anti-oppressive perspective.
• Ability to read, interpret public policy and translate complex issues for diverse audiences.
• Experience developing or delivering trainings, workshops, or educational experiences.
• Strong communication skills for multiple audiences.

Responsibilities

• Manage a range of projects, coordinating participants, schedules, and budgets.
• Use community-engaged design methodologies to create accessible visual explanations.
• Build and maintain relationships with project partners, organizers, and designers.
• Supervise staff and contractors; provide clear, jargon-free writing and direction.
• Lead workshops and trainings; contribute to program development and evaluation.
