Women’s Center & Shelter of Greater Pittsburgh (WC&S) seeks a Communications & Development Associate to support marketing, communications, and community engagement through social media, newsletters, and website updates. You will help with volunteer activities, donor engagement, and data tracking to strengthen outreach.

The successful candidate will have at least two years in marketing/communications, with a focus on digital channels, and be organized, flexible, and detail-oriented in a nonprofit

Qualifikationen

• Two+ years of marketing/communications experience, focusing on digital marketing or fundraising.
• Experience in the nonprofit sector is preferred.
• Proficiency with Canva or Adobe Creative Suite for design assets.
• Strong writing and communications skills; ability to adapt to audience and medium.

Aufgaben

• Create, schedule, and publish social media content aligned with marketing strategy.
• Create and publish monthly newsletters, campaigns, events, and email communications.
• Update the WC&S website for accuracy and engagement in coordination with Marketing Manager.
• Assist with marketing and public relations for the Bright Sky app and website.
• Collect survivor, volunteer, and donor stories for media use and storytelling.
