Job summary

Riverside Immigrant Services & Empowerment seeks a full-time Development Associate to support fundraising and program expansion. You will report to the Director of Development and work with the team to manage donor records, prepare communications, and assist with annual campaigns.

The role involves preparing reports, coordinating events like fundraisers, and supporting new membership programs for 2026–2027. Strong CRM and MS 365 skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 2–3 years of fundraising experience in a nonprofit setting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with patience and tact.
• Experience with CRM databases (Kindful, Neon, Raiser's Edge, Bloomerang, Spektrix, Tessitura).
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace.
• Experience with email platforms (e.g., Mailchimp).
• Familiarity with social media management tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist in annual fundraising campaigns and donor communications.
• Process donations and maintain CRM data accuracy.
• Prepare donor acknowledgment letters and impact reports.
• Develop monthly fundraising reports and dashboards.
• Coordinate events and donor stewardship activities.
• Support volunteer and alumni engagement in CRM.
• Assist with broad communications and social media outreach.
