Job summary

St. Raymond Academy for Girls in the Bronx is seeking a dynamic Development Associate to design and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy and to work closely with the school principal and administration.

The role involves cultivating donor relationships, producing marketing materials, planning alumni events, managing communications and database tasks in Raiser's Edge, and supporting school events and parent associations. Hybrid schedule with in-school and at-home days.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Excellent writing and communication skills required.
• Solid working knowledge of Raiser's Edge, Word, Excel, and social media platforms.
• Must be able to work in a school environment; work with students on projects and at events.

Responsibilities

• Supports and upholds the philosophy of Catholic education and the mission of the school.
• Collaborate with the Administration to design and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy for the Academy.
• Develop and distribute compelling marketing materials and fundraising literature to engage former donors and attract potential new donors.
• Cultivate relationships with individuals and organizations to secure, nurture, and expand fundraising support.
• Plan alumni events - example class reunions.
• Intra-office mailing of information, thank you letters, correspondence to alumni and donors.
• Perform routine office functions, including mail for distribution, copying, file, answering and making phone calls and use of Raiser's Edge.
• Assist with school events, engage with the parent association.
• Assist with website updates as needed.
