Job summary

Northeast State Community College's Development Office seeks an Administrative Assistant to support daily operations, manage budgets, process purchasing and travel documents, and provide CRM assistance. Reporting to the Director of Development, the role is part-time, 25 hours weekly, with duties spanning meetings, minutes, donor records, and event support.

Candidates should have an Associate degree with 1 year of admin experience or a high school diploma with 2 years, strong Microsoft Office

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree + 1 year of administrative support experience
  • Or High school Diploma + 2 years of administrative support experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Responsibilities

  • Prepare correspondence, agendas, board and committee materials, and minutes; schedule meetings and coordinate logistics.
  • Enter gifts, pledges, sponsorships, and contributions into the CRM accurately and on schedule.
  • Assist with routine CRM report pulls and donor tracking reports.
  • Assemble audit, compliance, and reporting documentation under supervision.
  • Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems and manage document retention.
  • Provide day-of logistical support for development events including registration, materials, setup, and catering coordination.
  • Prepare purchase requisitions, invoices, travel documents, and track expenditures.
  • Complete other assignments as directed by the Director of Development.
