Job summary

Merge is seeking a Developer Relations professional to light up the AI developer community. You will write docs, build sample apps, and create tutorials and demos to show what's possible with Merge's platform.

This hands-on role blends community, content, and real technical work, including videos, SEO-optimized posts, and engaging with forums and influencers to grow adoption. Candidates should have a CS-related degree and API/AI framework experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field with 3 years of experience in Developer Relations or related role.
• Alternatively, Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Admin, Computer Science or related field with 1 year of relevant experience.
• Experience building with APIs and comfortable reading API docs, making API calls, and debugging authentication issues.
• Exposure to AI agent frameworks, LLMs, or tool-calling patterns; ability to explain concepts to developers clearly.
• Public artifact of work (GitHub, blog, demo, side project) showing how you build and share.

Responsibilities

• Write quick start guides, tutorials, and how-to content for API integrations.
• Build small sample apps demonstrating real integration patterns developers can copy.
• Create short-form video content, demos, and product walkthroughs for YouTube and X.
• Identify gaps in the developer journey by testing docs and logging issues.
• Contribute SEO-optimized blog posts targeting developer search intent.
• Engage in forums and communities; grow channel presence across Discord and social platforms.
